Mike Stickland is a pianist, composer and recording artist. He composes for TV and Movies and has sold over 350,000 CDs worldwide. Currently his music is getting over 1 million spins per week on Pandora Radio.
Mike has created this show uniuely for us. He will be playing and walking us through his arrangements of iconic melodies from the American Songbook with a mixture of his original works. He is going to show us how he works with melody and creates motion and texture by using the piano as an orchestral instrument – all 88 keys!
